Weaponsmithing is skill used to craft weapons for all classes. This skill also involves smelting ores that are obtained through mining into ingots, which can then be used to craft weapons, and the melding (refining) of the energy-infused crystals obtained through Essence Gathering.
The patterns to raise Weaponcrafting through refining ingots are different from the patterns used to raise Armorcrafting through refining.
With Level 65 gear updates this profession gained possibility to learn craft Golden Darics and Golden Plates. Old artisan and masters grades in weaponcrafting were converted to equivalent in smelting profession in December 2018 update.

- Tier 4 : Cryosilex : Essence of Ice (2) + Artisan Refining Kit (2)
- Tier 5 : Galvasilex : Lightning Essence (2) + Master Refining Kit (2)
Each round of crafting has a chance to, instead of creating a Refined Material of that Tier, it will return two Essences of the next Tier. (For example : You may receive 
Essence of Wind (2), instead of a 
Deosilex, when you do Tier 1 Refining.)
