Eldritch Academy is one of the locations in the game TERA. It an open world non-instanced dungeon in Poporia. Eldritch Academy has its own quest line under story The Popori Kingdom (starting level 34). It's no longer required red quest line.
Lore[]
The Witches of Vadoma teach young girls ancient secrets of magic in the academy, providing them with both a home and a sense of family. The academy’s presence benefits Poporia, providing it with a pool of trained arcanists, and the academy tries to give back to the kingdom. The lavish harvest festival parties are famous across Southern Arun, though invitations are always scarce. Dark rumors have reached Pora Elinu, however, about events transpiring in the academy that could undermine everything the witches and Poporia have worked for.
The players are called upon to investigate the rumors of chaos and violence in the academy. Poporia relies upon the Eldritch Academy and wants to protect that relationship, so discreet investigations and assistance are the orders of the day. The academy houses a tremendous amount of magical power—power that could cause great harm if it were to fall into the wrong hands.[1]
Eldritch Academy[]
Eldritch Academy has a quite complex layout with three levels above the ground and two subterranean cellar levels.
Main level is called Eldritch Academy. When entering you first enter the Grand Hall with rebellious students and their Frisky Mr. Purrfect pets. There is a platform with few friendly students. This place is familiar from the Halloween event Harvest Festival Hall. Main level also has few corridors. Stairs back of the platform lead to the upper level and Eldritch Bastion camp.
Halls of Knowledge[]
Halls of Knowledge is first level up. You find Eldritch Bastion camp as soon as you climb up the flight. Stairs left and right lead to a new area: in the west Occult Library, Research Library and Thaumaturge Chamber. In the east: Athenaeum, and Gallery.
Halls of Power[]
Top level, the Halls of Power is a one round route. There is one named location: Serena's Park, where you find Taera. There is only one stairs up.
Malefic Laboratories[]
Malefic Laboratories is the first subterranean level. This is where it starts to get complicated. To descend to this level, you first have to go to Halls of Knowledge, climb up the stairs on the left, enter the corridor to the north and descend the stairs. You're now back to main level, but on a separate part of it. Go again stair down to enter Malefic Laboratories. This level has three separate parts, you can only enter from the upper level. Other parts of the level are Arcane Sanctum and Chirurgeons Laboratory.
It's really worth to consult teleport master in Eldritch Bastion camp to teleport directly to lowest level since navigating the labyrinth on subterranean levels is total pain.
Witch-Queen Catacombs[]
Witch-Queen Catacombs is the lowest level of Eldritch Academy. Just use teleport master in Eldritch Bastion to travel to Professors Redoubt camp to get there.
You probably want to find Altar of Vadoma, located in a totally separate part of this level in the Halls of Vadoma. From Professors Redoubt, go to the end of corridor on the same level, until you find stairs up. Go up the stairs to Malefic Laboratories. You'll find witches Cordella, Mahagi and Kyenryn. Turn left (south) and continue until you find stairs down. Go down and you're on other part of Witch-Queen Catacombs. (If you enter Chirurgeons Laboratory you went in the wrong direction). You see Hall of Vadoma on the map. Teleportal is located there.
