Manaya's Core is a 5-man dungeon that becomes available for entry to players at level 60.
Dungeon was added in autumn 2012 as part of the Argon Queen patch.[1] Manaya's Core normal mode was not added with the Argon Queen update, but was included in the game in a later patch. Hard mode was first version to be released. It was second generation of level 60 endgame content that also introduced changes to classes and gameplay and new weapons. On PC versions of TERA normal mode Manaya's Core still remains as level 60 dungeon. Interestingly, on console versions it's buffed to level 65 where it's available as Immortal Manaya's Core.
Manaya's Core can be accessed by using Queen's Lair Teleportal found in Granarkus. Players can teleport directly to the Queen's Lair Teleportal by using Argon Corpus/Manaya's Core Teleport Scroll.
Manaya's Core has extremely complex battle mechanics during the last boss fight against Shandra Manaya. Unfortunately, with the current gear available to players, even using level 60–65 leveling gear, the battle ends before the mechanics have time to trigger.
Previously, the title "Shandra Maniac" was earned by completing Manaya's Core on Hard mode 30 times. Due to the legendary reputation the dungeon has, some players still proudly show off their "Shandra Maniac" title.
Just like any other dungeon, you will find Cherfa the Crystal Merchant in the beginning of the dungeon.
The Plexus where Shandra Manaya is found is considered visually one of the most impressive places in TERA.
Lore[]
Manaya's Core is the final dungeon and mission in the Argon War story arch. The completion of this dungeon marks the defeat of Shandra Manaya, and consequently, the Argons. Players are shown the cinematic The End of the Argon War once the dungeon is completed. This cinematic can be viewed from the character selection screen after this.
