Against other players, the damage decreases, but their cooldown time for melee attacks doubles. Press the skill button once and mouse over to lock on targets, then press the skill button again or left-click to plague all targets.

Plague of Exhaustion is an active skill that can be taught to Priests at level 24. It cannot be ranked up at later levels.

Plague of Exhaustion can be performed with a staff by the Priest to remove all of the opponent's buffs, as well as deal a small amount of damage. It also doubles the cooldown of all of the opponent's melee attacks. It generally more useful for PvP than for PvE.

There are some dungeon mechanics with require this skill to be used. At Ravenous Gorge a healer can remove buff from bosses that gives them more defense. This mechanics is used to give parties with healer faster way to clear the dungeon, since healer classes have lower damage. Also it's necessary to use this skill in certain hard mode dungeons to cancel boss mechanics.

To glyph Plague of Exhaustion, a glyph must be obtained and learned only once. At level 60, a character has 50 glyph points available to spend on all available priest glyphs. Most glyphs, specifically common glyphs can be purchased from a Glyph Master, while fine glyphs must be looted from enemies.
