Suryati's Peak
Suryati's Peak
Continent Southern Shara
Province Westonia
Zone Mount Tyrannus
Sub-Zone Acarum Boneyard

Suryati's Peak was a 5-man instanced dungeon that become available for entry to players at level 58. The dungeon was removed from game when level cap was raised to 65 and not seen again.

It originally dropped level 58 Thalnim gear. As TERA already had level 60 level cap when released in west, this gear was irrelevant. There was also a related quest "The Mountain of Chains" which is removed without a trace left. Dungeon also dropped Gelid Badges for gear from Acarum's Badge Merchant and items called Innervation Elixir. This is supposed to resist Kelsaik's curse: Malaise of Despair in hard mode Kelsaik's Nest. Mechanics where one dungeon drops items to help in another dungeon was common in this era.

Layout[]

Dungeon is very large and has numerous mobs. It's made of parts of Mount Tyrannas areas: Bloodblade Mercenary Camp, Frigid Vigil and Gloomy Tundra. First you kill Mahaj to open the gate to the former Holdouts Redoubt camp. Dungeon has numerous Dementaliths that reverse your controls. Destroying the Dementaliths in the camp changes NPCs there bloodthirsty and makes them attack you and opens a path to the next area, again with numerous mobs.

Defeating boss Garan and priestesses frees Garan from his curse and you can interact with him. Defeat summoned Argons with Garan and he opens a teleportal to the second part of dungeon.

You can't kill Argonomorph Barsicore without destroying the Dementaliths. Also destroying the stone starts endless Argon mobs spawn, until you start the last boss fight. You can't hurt Suryati. He summons Akalath boss and other Iknephar priests who fire red and blue balls from edges of the last boss arena. After Akalath boss is defeated Suryati escapes. Special Suryati mechanics is that he occasionally summons Argon wall blocks, which block player(s) inside, making them unable to escape, until the wall is broken. This mechanics was used in Dreadspire version of Suryati.
