Such extension is on hold as Wikia are unable to allow any extension requests for the time being.

The TERA Wiki was launched on 14 August 2009 by Rexxagon as a source of information pertaining to TERA: The Exiled Realm of Arborea.

Since the launch of the TERA Wiki, activity was greatly frowned upon as TERA: The Exiled Realm of Arborea has not been released yet in North American and European regions, limiting players from citing information regarding it.

After two years of not greatly being cited in the media, TERA: The Exiled Realm of Arborea has bought the attention of fellow editors on May 2011 to August 2012, including the help of Wagnike2 and MarkvA who greatly helped the place become more than just an unknown place, but a great start.

On March 2012 to April 2012 activity has greatly raised as the release date for the North American and European version of TERA: The Exiled Realm of Arborea are nearing by.

On 30 April 2012 a new logo has been proposed for the TERA Wiki and has been accepted.

On 9 May 2012 founder Rexxagon has promoted Zikkun to administrator to keep the TERA Wiki active.

On 14 May 2012 a community contest has started on choosing a new theme for the TERA Wiki to appeal the theme and colors of TERA. Several themes have been suggested, and the pool has shown that the majority of the community desires a black colored skin.

On 20 June 2012 the TERA Wiki has been stuck in a situation where no administrator is able to promote or demote editors into higher or lower positions, putting the TERA Wiki in a situation where they cannot be expanded due to Rexxagon's inactivity, as he was the only bureaucrat during the time. Administrator Zikkun took notice and decided to form a community vote on deciding for a new bureaucrat in suggestion of Wikia staff member Trellar. The vote has terminated in 3 days has Rexxagon's activity raised and decided to promote Zikkun into a bureaucrat himself.

On 23 June 2012 bureaucrat Zikkun has promoted fellow editors Natsunya and Redmaniac333 to administrators for their hard work and dedication toward the TERA Wiki to allow it expand even more. On the same day, a new high quality design for the main page has been released to the public featuring portals with javascript capabilities and ease of use navigation.

On 1 July 2012 the Wikia Spotlight now includes the addition of the TERA Wiki to help promote the wiki and bring in new editors, with the help contributed by Bchwood and Lizzunchbox.

On 2 July 2012 the TERA Wiki now officially supports the skin Monobook. A button to move forward and backward between Oasis and Monobook, along side of a purge button has been added to the editing navigation.

Wikia chooses to give the direction control of the wiki to the community of it, as such, the community is the true owner who choses where it will be going. Several editors are chosen to become a sysops (recognized as an administrator) for their trust-ability and care for the wiki to award them with abilities they can make great sure of. Such include of deleting and un-deleting pages, accessing the theme designer, locking pages from anonymous editors to protect them from abuse, and more. bureaucrats have the same abilities as sysops, along with the addition of promoting and demoting editors, and the first bureaucrat is given the title, founder. Inactive bureaucrats and administrators are left with their position as they've already gained their trust. Should they return one day, they would be welcomed as they've done great contributions to begin with to reach their title.
