The War of the Gods is considered the ending point of the Age of Deities. During the War of the Gods, most of the deities were killed or imprissoned. It also marks the fall of the high elves as a civilization due to the Stone of Eternity being destroyed. The war occurred thousands of years before the events of the game take place.
