Hail Storm is an active skill used by Sorcerers.

It was originally only available at level 48. However, on skills rework this skill is available on level 18. It's ranked up on higher levels and becomes more powerful.

Hail Storm can be performed with a disc by the Sorcerer to deal great damage and also slow opponents down. One way to use it is to cast it in front of yourself, teleport or run over it, and wait for the mobs to walk right over it. In dungeons it should always be cast under the boss when available, as it damages enemies over time.

This skill has gradually been buffed and it's becoming one of the most important sorcerer skills. Storm originally lasted 10 seconds. Now it deals same damage in 6 seconds.

As of January 2019 chances this skill has 10% improved chance to crit over normal 1× skills.[1]

This skill has optional skill unlocks available on level 67.

  • Glacial Explosion makes skill deal all its damage instantly.
  • Cold Wave decreases monster endurance up to 9%. Also it stuns targets who got 4 ticks of damage for 3 seconds. Endurance debuff is overwritten by tank's debuff, but it's really useful while soloing monsters.
  • Frostbite doubles slowing debuff skill gives to enemies. Possibly weakest unlock, but most useful in PVP.

Skill is also subject of Skill Advancement at level 68. Advancing the skill raises its crit rate. (It's unclear what the game text means, possible it mean crit chance.) Advancing skill also raises character power.
